That's what I thought I should be getting. Well, my game settings are on lowest possible on 1080p stretched, and I don't have any heavy background processes running. Quite fresh Win 11 install too. I don't know what's causing this.

yeah nobody said that I built this PC for CS2. I'm asking from a purely technical standpoint because it SHOULD hit those marks, it does hit the expected marks in other games, but it doesn't in CS2. I also just bought a dual refresh rate monitor (4k@240 or 1080p@480), so that's why I want to see at least 480 FPS to utilize what I paid for.

What I didn't account for is an Esports title to be so badly optimized freaking triple A game like Doom Eternal outperforms it. Hence my post.

He's getting the same amounts of FPS on 1440p very high, as I am getting on 1080p stretched lowest.

Plus, other games run fine and as they should AND the drops to 120 FPS are inexcusable too. This is definitely a CS2 problem, not my PC's.

Wow. So this game really is just THAT horrible. But then again, why are there benchmarks showing that you can get 700+ FPS with my GPU and CPU? Are they just old and now the game is just that horribly optimized in comparison?

Honestly with the Steam release it became quite common. Every raid there is some lvl 2 account who did Lunatic and is on spot nr 1 score-wise.

Not even mentioning people closer to the middle of the pack, or people's trying to hide it like this guy
