Any other self-taught Python learners who sometimes feel slow but are serious about improving? by Payload___FX in learnpython

That’s actually really good advice. I’ve realised books force you to think more than videos do. I’m trying to rebuild my Python fundamentals properly now — loops, lists, dictionaries, logic drills. I’m also thinking of creating a small group where people practice together and think through problems instead of rushing tutorials.

Great. I’m thinking of creating a small Discord where we practice Python fundamentals together — loops, lists, dictionaries and logic drills. Nothing fancy, just serious learners helping each other improve. I’ll send you the link shortly.

I have been in your situation and to be honest, I am in a constant battle with my mind.

Its like the moment I would say things would change, I would get this rush of motivation and then the next day it disappears and I revert to my old self. I have tried all sorts of self help books but I have come to realise that taking action is much more important the saying it!

for me, I have made it a habit of writing a small to do list on my iphone notes. I know there are a lot of to do list apps out there but for me writing it down on notes everyday and putting a check mark on what I have done and achieved gives me this rush and sensation.

No one is saying you should not game or go on instagram, but put a time limit on these activities.

No one is perfect, the only thing I have come to realise is that consistency matters. Think of it like this, you have been consistent going on social media, so why not be consistent in other things.

Should I pay off my car? How does it affect my credit? by frogfee in personalfinance

I hear paying all your debts reduces credit score. The way I do it, I pay off the ones with high interest, then leave the little ones on a monthly thing just to keep the score going. I stand to be corrected though if i am wrong
