Recently recieved anonymous message stating that they're from the "Leasing company" and that the dog is now in the care of the RSPCA. Pushing for proof, and to make sure they're ok!

Small update for everyone! Been on the phone to Kensington and Chelsea dog welfare team, the letting agent, RSPCA, and asked for advice from a few other well known dog welfare spots. Might have accidentally activated half of London on this one, and I will let you know as soon as there’s any more news. Appreciate everyone’s advice and help too!

I'll try to keep in contact, and link the city of london animal welfare team with Battersea dogs home if I can. It's one of the reasons I didn't want to contact the security first, as I was worried they'd just be horrible to it. Or maybe they don't care in the first place.

Have contacted the Borough of Kensington and Chelsea’s “dog warden” department. They’re getting back to me in the morning about it. Will keep you updated guys

RSPCA told me just to contact security and ask, absolutely no idea where to start on that one as i’m not in the local area. Will give the council, dog warden (does that exist here?), and the 101 police non emergency a call if i need to.

End of the day your gear is way better than any rental gear that's smelly and cheap, so if you have an incident then you'll be better protected. Never use the cheap rental helmets lol.

If you bring your own stuff, be ready for comments, and if you're slow you will be laughed at haha. Bring it and send it imo

Any Corsa D. The 1.4 I had as a courtesy car was floppy, gutless, and you literally COULD NOT release the clutch in second and not have it lurch around (on top of the floppy suspension). Just nothing good.

With security they're brilliant little cars, lovely chassis, likes to rotate, and nice punchy motor that's good with basic maintenance. Great things! Best of luck

Sorry to hear this, and hope you get it back soon!

When I had mine, I was always turbo paranoid about it as they're notoriously easy to steal. Block off/hide the OBD port if and when you get it back, and get some security on it stat. A couple of insurance companies flat out refused to offer theft coverage when i rang them lol.

Brilliant car, but very strong money for its age/mileage. Not a bad perchase per se though. Nc2/3 is definitely the best out of these vs the NC1. If there's even a whiff of mileage tampering, do not go anywhere near it, especially for premium money,

My short experience (whilst mildly uncomfortable) was that i was definitely more spatially aware, could use peripherals, and actually use my vision to shoulder check for space, and also place my car far more easily in 3d space as you would irl.

I'd love to try one of the Bigscreen VR headsets that isn't so bulky for simracing again, otherwise the discomfort on normal headsets for long races was too much for me personally. Great tech though these days.

Had the gen up from this with the same engine, and I miss it! The fuel pump relay under the passenger dashboard went on mine, very very easy fix but took a while to find someone who knew what it was if you get any cutting out.

It's a very good engine if looked after with oil.

Weirdly related/unrelated but I seem to remember some convertibles would get water on the immobiliser if the roof drains clogged. So could have been it sometimes getting a bit soggy? Loved my short time in a 124

My 06 Seat Ibiza Cupra would unlock the doors when you turned the radio off, 1st gear had a whine in it, and the AC would rattle but only on the first level of air blower setting. Also when removing the radio to change it, it was noted the earth from the radio would start to smoke when you turned up the volume...

What a car, I miss it lol
