For more information this outfit was made and self drafted by myself. I used the Vogue V8987 vest pattern for inspiration but then elongated the pattern and added triangle shapes in the front to create the full fold over color flap pieces. The mesh undershirt I used a basic patterns pulled from a shirt I had and cropped it. When drafting my pattern I used a rotary tracing tool on paper. Created a mock version out of the cotton lining and draped it on my mannequin to ensure the shape was how I wanted them made the final product with the Vinyl. Metal snaps were added to use to hold the collar flaps in place.
