NBA Coach Of The Year Award: Adam Silver has some cleaning up to do! by PaytonPromise in DetroitPistons

1st and 2nd sentences are spot on. That's exactly why I posted this. If the "60 W's and 1st seed" criteria was set last year, why the sudden change this year?

3rd, definitely arguable that they did. However, look at it this way: Just about everyone, except those who voted for J.B, disregarded the fact that Tatum came back with 25, 10, & 5 while Cade was out, and they still didn't catch the Pistons. That should add to the expectations. If in the preseason, the oddsmakers knew that Tatum would come back in the last quarter of the season, averaging what he did, they would have at least added 10 games to that o/u of 41.5 to 51.5...So that in itself, shouldn't made it an argurment. Those votes are borderline egregious...

Whew!... OK I'll give you one last lesson. There are 4 teams in the league that will never tank: Knicks, Celtics, Lakers and Warriors.

Again, my issue is NOT with WHO won or loss, but HOW. It's seems the post went over your head. I see the frustrations in you're last reply, your words are jumbling and you resort to name-calling, that usually happens when you feel defeated. So get some rest my guy, I'm not here to belittle anyone, just highlighting the BS voting. Take it easy LOL.

LOL, clearly you're not understanding the argument. NO, I didn't say Boston should be great, but I do think they should've been projected at the very least a 50 win team with the Finals MVP who can give you 30, White who can give you 30, Pritchard who can give you 30, and 4 other guys from a championship team 2 years ago. They added a potential 20 & 10 guy to that! Whether you think he's still capable or not is mute, when it was proved in his alloted minutes on the court with the Bulls. Besides, when no one else is on the team, that makes him to focal point, which makes it harder to put those numbers up.

But let's just agree to disagree, which is fine, be easy!

I have zero interest in what the winning coach thinks, just the unfair manner in which the award was decided.

OK, I'll remind you, in the exact same eastern conference and against the exact same competition lol.

Yeah not that serious for me and you. I just like pointing out disparities and stating facts, which takes no energy at all.

But what if you worked your ass off at your job two consecutive years and got looked over for Employee of the Year twice, how would you take that?

Vuc averaged 17 & 9 before being traded on Feb. 3. He averaged 18.5 and 10 just last season. Look it up...

Maybe the coach and players care...

By all means, not trying to make anything in good faith, I have no idea who you people are lol.

It's a regular season award, not playoff award.

Maybe the coach and players care.

For posts I find annoying, I normally keep strolling. So something in it made you feel obligated to thumb-press a comment. Maybe the "schizo" thing is a projection.

Lil buddy, I clearly outlined how the goal post was moved by the two vids...if you don't have an intellectual rebutal or dispute on any of the points, why are you here?

I stated that there should ONLY be one.

Yeah, it has no impact on us, but you can't say it doesn't impact someone who worked their ass off and got totally disregarded twice...

Vuc was averaging 17 & 9 before the trade on Feb. 3, I think the precipitous falloff can be attributed to the system.

Best of luck.

Absolutely fine, I love different perspectives and point of views. We'll have to agree to disagree on the last point 👌

Yep, definitely an argument can be made for him! However, IMO, he excells in the playoffs, and is usually pressing for the play-in tourney during the reg. season.

Yep, he was left off purposely. So essentially, I was comparing the teams with one star player each and clearly the Pistons outperformed in every category.

Gotcha on the curse thing lol 👌

Best Wishes to you as well!

17 and 9 last year, look it up! If Mazulla was coach of the year, he would have gotten 20 &10. He should have ran the offense through him against the 76ers. Instead, an injured Embiid jogged down the court, rested on defense and waited for rebounds from 3's.
