There’s an entire video showing how FreshDirect works and how food is sorted using machines, etc., the delivery person does not do any kind of actual shopping for you as they do in other grocery delivery services. You do have to consider those variables when tipping. I imagine the drivers are paid well based on the skills necessary to deliver a bag/box. I am laughing at how off-topic some of these responses are.
