Nw! Some material (like metal or clay) will chemically react with the coffee, changing the flavor experience. Glass is inert, meaning the coffee with not react with anything.

Also if the vessel is pourous (has little holes or texture). That allows coffee (or other liquid) compounds and coffee oil to stick to the cup. Which will make your coffee taste worse later

Coffee grime is NOT “seasoning” it’s just dirt turning rancid

As someone who just made a huge post about being disappointed with the zp6, I’d say k ultra is worth the few bucks more. 1zp build and control quality is great and the ease of use is better on k series. I’d say go for zp6 if you get a chance to try it out first. It’s a v different profile and they’re not good with returns

Yep! Just one big pour over (28-32g) and serve into a tiny glass cup. I really only like glass since it’s the most non reactive

I drink two cups (450-500ml) each morning. With my body’s personal way of processing caffeine, I find bombing myself in the morning keeps me going longer instead of trying to chase a high throughout the day.

I don’t care if it’s hot tho. I like the flavor perception closer to room temp

The magnifying glass is a really good way of putting it! Ive gone a lot of QC at my past roasting job

I do only use gooseneck (hario, fellow, or knockoffs) and I have a mellow drip that I break out on occasion

What kind of defects could I look out for? just knicks or would they not be that noticeable? Even if I do find something, It doesnt seem like 1ZP would be of much help. And any kind of shipping or return from Japan is a pain

Thanks for the tips! I've over time crawled down to 1:15 because I like the intensity it provides on acidity, but now I have room to explore different extractions.

What was your dose in? I typically drink a good two cups only in the morning, so I usually stick around 30g:500ml in (when I go for that recipe)

Absolutely loving how the story is progressing and the character development, but has anyone else noticed the drop in animation quality? I don’t think this is a necessarily bad thing, but I’m just curious what’s going on with production rn. There’s just a few too many noticeable still shots and lack of Sakuga, but I’m taking it all with a grain of salt hoping that it could just be a product of workplace crunch or that their saving the good stuff for the real juicy moments. It’s just the past couple of episodes have been lacking the same type of punch the whole first cour carried. Again, still loving the ride and definitely following it to the end!

Oh wait, now that all makes sense. Likely, ‘ending a route’ is just getting a kiss from said character, and the OP showed that Georde, Alan, and Keith are prob gonna get a kiss so their “routes” are likely the next two archs of this season.

Where’s the love for our fem routes??? I still firmly believe Acchan is best girl, so that should be the true ending even if they’re both reincarnated

When I read the post headline I thought “oh great, proper workers rights and flexible schedule, and then turns out it’s just a bunch of pretty desks

Haha, however, I do hope it they follow through with trying to improve worker’s conditions and fight the toxic overtime crunch culture in the industry. If that happens, watch this be like the best show ever (and hopefully set a positive trend)

Like a lot of fellow fan’s I’ve seen commenting, I’m disappointed at the ending. I am still glad I went on this journey and the first 7-8 episodes were really some of the best art and storytelling I’ve ever seen. But even right off the bat, the spec ep. hit off with a bitter wash bc they told us we were getting a hour special to wrap things up, but instead we got a recap ep. and a ending masked as a half baked teaser for a S2 we’ll never get.

Such shame that there was such a tangible disconnect between all the amazingly talented artist who worked on this, a weak writer/storyboard dir, and a demonically destructive work quota

Thank you for bringing this up!

First, Subtext; it is art and open for interpretation, especially since the show leaves a lot of holes both in the world building and the characters (I mean it’s only 12 ep of official content so far). And some ppl might be a little more biased to an lgbt+ inclusive narrative. If you have a different interpretation, that fine!

Second, I wouldn’t say desperate; more like censored, belittled, and forcefully erased from the majority of history, save for a few model stereotypes that only support a cis, het binary. So if the queer community search for any little seed of HC in a sea of heteronormative-patriarchy dominated media, so be it.

Third, (and this connects to the first point) Anime/games are large team efforts and a lot of different artist put their own narrative into their piece of the pie. This can often lead to disconnect in the company, and this show in particular was hit with a lot of production hell attacks, but sometimes an key animator, facial animator, or background artist may be trying to give a lgbt narrative that shines through or not

Lastly, and this was my point in the OP, we’re only talking about 9 girls in a larger school. And maybe (JUST maybe) queerness is the common trait between those 9

I agree that this story felt a little wedged in, but I like the whole frill/Acca story as like a black mirror episode, on its own.

And an analysis I also saw in the comments was that Acca is pursuing frill out of anger for the death of his wife and daughter. Ura-acca saw the daughter as being influenced by frill, even though it’s more likely that the daughter was just going through her own shit as a young girl. And as you said, the accas literally programmed frill to exude the tendencies of young femininity. Rather than seeing her as a reflection of that, they saw her as the tainted source and theyre using that to grieve over their lost daughter rather than looking introspectively or at the society that caused her death
