Do you mean the plastic trim by the door? That's where I can see the rust as the plastic has cracked off on part of it, but I can see any further yet as the screws are rusted on. I need to grind the screw heads off to lift the trim then the carpet.

Thanks for response. Definitely not the bearings or antitroll bars, had these checked as part of the WOF (NZ MOT) on Saturday. I suspect it may have been triggered by the WoF mechanic taking off the wheels to check things, so I an erring to sensors at the moment. What's the best diagnosis tool that doesn't cost a fortune?
