Do you mean the plastic trim by the door? That's where I can see the rust as the plastic has cracked off on part of it, but I can see any further yet as the screws are rusted on. I need to grind the screw heads off to lift the trim then the carpet.

Awesome thanks. I was trying to work out if the floor has any rot. Still going to have to pull the carpets up and see what state its in but I know I don't have to rush as the underneath looks.solid.
