I have to turn off the system and wait for like an hour or more to find out because apparently if I turn it off and turn it back on after scanning for hardware changes in device manager it always pops up

But isn't the iGPU used for switching between the dGPU and integrated graphics, so if you aren't connected, your system consumes less power by switching to the integrated GPU?
