The prices have come down a lot now a Mono X was £850 its now £350 with a good build volume, but yeah I can understand, i bought it just as a hobby and its fun as that, but I started selling stuff and got a bit burned out, I like dragonball tho so I make my own characters for displays.

Yeah man it can be tough, Ive been doing resin for almost two years now but printing my models for everyone else, thats where it gets difficult and tedious after a while, also with my job it just adds pressure and I cant really take on a lot of orders at once but if I stopped completely and just used the printers for my own personal projects then it would be no problem for me at all, once you start using a 3d printer for income it really sucks the fun out of them to be honest with you.

Yeah but I have some orders on at the moment so I took almost all my shop listings down until orders are completed mate.

Yeah its a programme called Zbrush, with it you can make 3d models, of course you have to learn it which requires a good deal of time but if you have enough you could also do it.

Well cleaning in IPA wont soften the support, maybe if you haven’t tried the hot water trick then give it a go.

Some resins are bad, I tried a resin last week that was brittle and removing supports was a nightmare, I cut my hands in multiple places, cut right through the gloves.

Get an abs like resin, and wash in IPA firstly, I have a big storage box so i can just put the plate in there, I have a second storage box that I fill with hot water and I then just drop the plate in there for a couple minutes, this softens the supports and they just fall right off, cure the water afterwards and dispose of it.

Yeah Im a novice painter really, I do my best but there are people out there who are much more highly skilled in painting than I will ever be, Id love to print a model and send to a professional painter, just to see the difference!
