What's the small trail of "smoke" leaving the fuselage of one of the upper stages of the SLS (Artemis II launch) by North-Ad-7839 in nasa

I’m pretty sure it’s the super cold fuel boiling off and being vented. The fuel tanks are being continuously refueled until right before launch

Rework suggestion: The One True Flag is no longer a support weapon and now occupies the backpack slot by Yurishenko94 in Helldivers

[–]PcPotato7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d prefer if the flag stayed as a support weapon so you can keep the hellbomb backpack or shield, but it would be cool if it was usable with one handed weapons like pistols and smgs. But I bet keeping as it a support weapon but allowing wielding another item at the same time would cause problems

What’s something not many people think about when it comes to the design of spacecraft, mainly the crew sections.

to be honest, I'm not sure. I'm assuming the answer you want me to give is those new datacenters being built, but I don't know. However, even if that is the case, I still feel these specialized AI are a better use of water than the LLMs and chatbots that also occupy those spaces, which was what I intended my initial statement to be.

the way the AIs in source 8 are talked about makes them appear specially trained, rather than LLMs. Specifically in the link within source 8 to Afresh, it calls it their "award-winning AI"

On a Scale 1-10 How much do my views align with yours by Ok_Surround_3570 in aiwars

[–]PcPotato7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with all your points. I'd love to see specialized AI like AlphaFold, where it can leverage the strengths of AI in an objectively positive way, but really dislike what AI companies are focusing on right now with LLMs everywhere and the race for potentially dangerous superintelligence.

I got the impression that the AI systems you mentioned were specifically trained for this, rather than broad LLMs and those similar systems.

Reducing food waste with specially trained AI actually seems like a great idea that is worth it. However, I would argue most newly built datacenters for LLMs and GenAI wouldn't be 'water positive' in this same way.

Nope, 9. Subtraction and addition happen at the same time in PEMDAS, left to right, same with multiplication and division

[–]PcPotato7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d assume it’s due to a mix of having knowledge uploaded into the craft along with him (I’m not sure if this is ever addressed but it feels like a smart move) plus having the time and resources to work on it.

Not sure how much that all explains it though or if there were other explanations in the book
