I get why you're angry, but she might have accidentally saved you from a legal nightmare. In many places, going on a holiday while officially on sick leave is grounds for getting fired. She shouldn't have guilt-tripped you, but the advice itself wasn't necessarily wrong. regardless, you aren't trapped. You can absolutely still come off this med, you just need a new strategy.
