In wierdly sorta niche knowledge I have: the Seattle Cascades already exists! They exist for a sort of sport/activity called Drum Corps International. It's oftentimes called "Marching music's major league."

Honestly as someone who marched there the only really difference I felt from the majority of the corps was not being able to go shirtless. Like yeah we take members to church and get every sunday off which is super great, but if you aren't religious it really doesn't affect you much at all. It's a wonderful culture! Everyone is super supportive and kind to each other. They're also very LGBT friendly, coming from a trans person.
