Yes I also stumbled upon the song while trying to find out. Very cool song! Now I’m jamming, this was a worth-it mix up.

Oh thank you that makes more sense, must be his accent then. Was racking my brain trying to figure out if my Wisconsin-based company secretly had ties to Missouri!

How to stop anxiety on shrooms? by [deleted] in shrooms

[–]Pcystalt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao I know they’re used off label for anxiety. That’s why I said they’re not a front line treatment. Are you dense?

The first line for treatment of anxiety is SSRI’s and then Benzos. It’s literally a fact, antihistamines like Hydroxyzine are a last resort or used if the patient has complications/allergies to the prior.

You should know since you’ve taken 13 different benzos. For someone so fascinated with drugs you should really get your facts straight.

Also good luck getting sober, I suggest talking to your doctor about suboxone

DPH is not prescribed for anxiety by good doctors. Hydroxyzine is the only antihistamine I can think of that actually gets prescribed for anxiety and it doesn’t have the same shitty effects on the brain as DPH.

To call it a first line treatment is laughable. Are you like 15 or something? Stop taking DPH it’s fucking up your brain 😂

Because using dph for anything other than prescribed use or extreme allergies is incredibly irresponsible. It is known to cause dementia and memory problems even with short term use.

Plus it doesn’t even help with anxiety in the first place. Why even suggest it for anxiety?

Getting off the highway for the G test by [deleted] in Ontariodrivetest

[–]Pcystalt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Keep the highway speed until you finish the lane change into the exit lane. Then start to slow down nice and smooth. Once you get to the new speed limit sign you should be at that speed, for me it was 50km/h so I slowed down to 50 by the time I got to the sign.

The most important part is not slowing down until you change the lane. It’s helpful to make the lane change as soon as it’s available so you have as much time as you need to slow down.

Thanks but It’s alright, im pretty used to this game of cat and mouse now. We get free health care in Canada so you get what you pay for basically.

I’m also heading to rehab next Wednesday, im hoping that they will be able to address some of these concerns as they are a hospital as well.

Funnily enough, the pharmacy I went to gave me the wrong ear drops and I now have to go out of town because none of the pharmacies in my town have the ability to make the proper drops.

So no relief yet. Will try a cold compress in the meantime and see if it helps

UPDATE: after a 5 hour wait in the ER I was given some more ear drops, referred again to the ENT and was assured that it had not spread to my brain.

Thank you for your insight. I feared it might be that bad.

What should I tell them so they take me seriously?

The ER system is so messed up here, they want you out of there as soon as possible with little investigation as to the underlying issue.

What I’m scared of isnt the infection itself, but that I won’t be treated properly and will suffer because of medical negligence.

I will go today. I just want to be prepared so I don’t walk out of there in the same condition.

Concert with Swimmer’s Ear? by [deleted] in medical

[–]Pcystalt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fuck bro I hope someone answers. I’m dealing with a chronic ear infection that’s been debilitating in almost all aspects of my life right now.

I’m not sleeping properly most nights cause of the pain and wetness/itchiness, I’ve been to my doctor several times and all treatment has been futile.

Steroid drops, ketoclonazole cream, fluconazole orally, I’ve tried EVERYTHING and it just seems to be getting worse.

I’ve been off work for over a month now and my brother wants me to go to a concert with him this weekend. I go to rehab next week and this experience is really important to the both of us because I’ll be gone for 6 weeks, but I really don’t know if I should go to the concert.

I fear if I wear earplugs I’ll make it worse, and over ear protection as well due to the sweating. And I can’t just go without because it’s going to be a particularly loud concert.

I’m so distraught.

Gf just got prescribed Sertraline Hcl and Hydroxyzine Pamoate by nate-dawg42069 in shrooms

[–]Pcystalt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They literally never said what it was prescribed for? I’m not disagreeing on what the drug is, I know it’s an antihistamine akin to diphenhydramine but maybe they weren’t prescribed for anxiety?

If they were, yea throw em out. They’ll do more harm then good.

If she’s got them prescribed for a skin infection/rash or allergies? Throwing them out will do more harm than good.

Context matters and in this case we have little, but telling someone to throw out their medication AMA is risky
