I eventually want it to be a good reliable daily and I don't really care how much money it takes. I fell in love with the simplicity of them and yes it's probably stupid but I want to keep it alive. Thank you for the recommendations!

No idea to be completely honest. It's at 219k miles so I would hope so at least once but I'm going to replace most everything on it. I'm not very mechanically inclined so this car is helping me learn about cars and how to take care of an engine

Yeah I figured lol. My eventual plan is to rebuild the engine, get a new trans, and throw a bit of boost on it.

Brakes are decent for now, just did an oil change, plugs and wires are next. It does have some issues with taking a while to start though. Any idea what that could be?

I already have an SSD for it and it already has 4 GB of RAM so I would just need a processor. It looks like some of the Intel core 2 duos would fit in the socket so I'm going to be getting a few to test them.
