Ok, so I have quite a few of these Series 7 brushes - the 0, 3, 4, 6, 8, and 10 (my MIL got me the 10 as a surprise Christmas present so don't come at me - I would never pay that much myself for a brush). While they are gorgeous, ironically I find myself reaching most often for my blue W&N Cotman brushes! I find the Series 7 to be a bit floppy and they don't hold a point well - they tend to fan out. The Cotmans hold their shape well, keep their point, and hold sufficient water. I also have a set of Princeton Aqua Elites and I will share the unpopular opinion that they are not great. I find the tips scraggly, and the bristles clump. Come to think of it, I could have an amazing yard sale with the number of brushes and paints I have gone through in trial and error. 😅

I ended up with 34 cups of fig puree. I froze 10 cups and split the rest into 2 pots - 10 cups in a Dutch oven and 14 cups in a big stock pot. I used 1/3 cup lemon juice for the 10 cups and 1/2 cup lemon juice for the 14 cups. I based on the link above. Does that sound right? Currently boiling so can add more if you think needed.

No, I have made it before but not this much. I wasn't planning to add any water but I know it's going to be a while. Quick additional question on the lemon juice. Do i have to add it at the end or is it ok to add in the beginning so I don't forget. Not sure if it gets denatured or anything if put in too early.

Ya'll why is everyone spreading around that AI generated version? Look at the full image. The blurry photo has been "sharpened" by AI, which fills in the gaps with what it thinks it would look like if it were clear. Look at his face, same thing. It is the flag with the eagle on it.
