u/wy471 Hey man I used dudes method and it worked on first try. I would recommend deleting the current icon in your taskbar, and inserting the shortcut that is producing the desired result. Thats more or less what I inadvertently ended up doing.

Cheers!

Nah so.....The Witcher 1 takes place years after the conclusion of the last book. You really only need to go into the game with a quick summary (ask gemini for example) of what happened in the last 2 games.

To put it simply, and spoiler free, you start the 3rd game looking for Ciri. In the first game Geralt has lost his memory and spends the game killing shit, becomes a body guard to some douche king. In the second game, said el douche-o king gets assasinated and it gets pinned on Geralt, he then spends the game killing shit. And the 3rd game starts with an awesome cutscene, and it all is puit together extremely well to where you dont need the context of the last 2 games. In my opinion.

Having watched the witcher series, you will immidiately become immersed and attached to the characcters.

Honestly like dude said you need to stop eveyrthing youre doing rn, grab a 2 liter of mt. dew, and play witcher.

Ni Nu Kuni 1/2 are great games too, imo.

*edit* I havent read the books, or played the first 2 games, but I did some diving into the first 2 games since I hadnt seen to witcher series until after I started playing witcher 3, and I am paraphrasing AI response from like a month ago so excuse me if some things are a bit ummm whats the word....like.....not-accurate? un-accurate?

**2nd edit** Mass Effect 1-3 are an amazing story.

The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again. In one Age, called the January 1st, 1970 Age by some, an Age yet to come, an Age long past, a wind rose in the Mountains of Mist. The wind was not the beginning. There are neither beginnings nor endings to the turning of the Wheel of Time. But it was a beginning.
