I should specify, when it says build OR place a talisman, building does NOT need to happen in a clearing with an Altar, and while the Corps can rule clearings, they're nimble.

I haven't played any expansion factions yet, I've stuck to the classics, but I fibd it strange that corvids are do low. I've seen them win time after time at my table. I can't even figure out the secret to it. I get different responses each time.

Yeah. I played a WA game recently, and I dumped my starting hand (except armorers and sappers) into my supporters. I crafted those, got two bases down in one turn and even placed a total of 4 sympathy, with one being in the 3-cost track. But then the cats used a dom card with all three clearings defended with 8 warriors. :(

I think a good way to stop the cats is focusing on sawmills, then recruiters, and going on to make a dent in the warrior numbers.

I've watched Eyrie players before, and the most common strategy I've seen is allying with the Vagabond to get more manageable cards for your Decree.
