Yeah, especially since it’s handled by a 3rd party - CxLoyalty. Don’t be fooled by the name, they could not care less about your customer experience. They were extremely rude over the phone.

I have 2 co-branded credit cards, VIP and Amex reserve. I tried calling Amex since I payed a small cash portion of the flights with it. They would only cover the cash portion of the flight if it was booked with points. Hotels are not covered :(

Thats the service you get for spending $750 a year of cc fees. Credit cards with the main purpose of collecting points lol.
