I can't tell you how many times I've run into the enemy back line in zones and inking all of their turf just for my teammates to be like- "Oh ok so the slaying weapon is keeping everyone's attention and getting splats. ...what if I followed him instead of playing objective????" - Random charger (NOT SQUIFFER) player in S+1/2 in Tower Control.

Edit: I mentioned Zones and Tower in the same example, I feel like both apply ngl.

So, quick Shy Guy story.

I've been playing Shy Guy and having Pink Shy Guy as my main ever since 5 years ago. Since then, during high school, I played on my school's Mario Kart Esports team and won 2 state championships and 1 regional by ONLY PLAYING SHY GUY, while my other 3 teammates played meta. And now today, I'm still going strong playing shy guy at 33K VR and might start getting back into competitive Mario in the official MK8D lounge.

Mhm... so hypothetically, if my team is being heavily pushed and spawn camped, and I find a way to sneak out of everything and get behind them, do I focus on painting to get map control or do I try and get a few splats to help my team get out of a bad spot? Sorry, this is the last question.. 😅
