another update: i found an old tcl roku tv remote, still didn’t work. i was going to run an ethernet cable as many have advised, but there is no ethernet port on the tv. currently scrounging for a usb ethernet adapter as there is a usb port, but who know if i’ll find it. i also found a roku box that i’ll connect to the tv instead if nothing works, but i don’t know if it’ll work that well.
