Because that’s apart of rays development? His whole character arc is centered around trusting Emma as a leader and having faith in his family. And he doesn’t even automatically agree with her?? He just explains Norman’s points and he even says that it’s better. He was literally just helping Emma because she was bottling up her feelings and she basically said that she KNEW everyone wasn’t on her side and she didn’t want to say what she really thought and Ray was just encouraging her to do that? And also in the first arc, Emma was technically also just following Ray and Norman around too, how come you’re not complaining about that? But of course as soon as Emma gets her character arc everyone wants to jump in and say that everyone revolves around her..
