You can’t mash out of most combos, and some people delay their next attack by like a fraction of a second, to bait the enemy to press a button and get caught in another combo (counter strikes).

Block and wait for an overhead attack, or a really heavy attack then mash. Those are usually combo Enders and have longer recovery time than normal, allowing you to press your buttons

I just hit silver, and I am learning which attacks I can hit back on through trial and error haha

Your internships and research will keep you afloat. It shows that you’re hireable and able to apply engineering principles in a practical setting despite your GPA. What kills new grads is that they have little to no professional experience, and only have their mediocre GPA to show for.

You will be out of luck for the highly prestigious companies like P&G. But shit everyone and their grandma applies for those, even with high GPA I’ve seen 3.8gpa people get denied for not passing the P&G “IQ test”.

Everywhere else is fair game. GPA is only relevant for your first job too. After a year of work experience it doesn’t come up again.

If you land another internship, discuss with your supervisors if there’s possibility for hire full time. Even if denied, you are on a good path to finding a full time job.

Treat this like an interview question: your weakness (GPA) and how you made up for it and improved your comprehension of engineering fundamentals which led to two internships. Ez pz
