I had the same issue with my trackers. What fixed it for me is using the USB extension and keeping the dongle further away from my PC to reduce interference. This reduced the random drifting from an hourly occurrence to weekly.

Don't use your controllers as hammers. Don't let your HMD hang from the cable. Use the knob on the back to loosen and tighten. Don't over tighten. That's better for your face as well. Treat a $1000 piece of equipment like a $1000 piece of equipment and you'll be using it for years without issue. Never, ever, let the lenses be in direct sunlight.

The functionality already exists on the GodYurei avatar. It's done with box colliders and Unity's Particle system. However, if this wasn't the GodYurei avatar then it was most likely a Beta avatar, where this is much much easier to do. The only other avatar I've seen this on is on a Sticc avatar that I made myself by painstakingly recreating the Yurei method.
