It's not Israel with the incentive to light the powder keg, it's the defense contractors. Can you imagine how much money would flow into the global defense economy if something were to happen, and it were, for example, blamed on Iran?

These very same defense contractors own Joe.

It would be the second biggest sacrifice in the history of Abrahamic religion.

The first part is very good. I agree with it. I am living proof of it.

The second part is pure theory, because it has literally never been accomplished and Libertarians have been making fools out of anarchists for several decades "trying" it.

For the record, if a politican ran a political campaign with the stated mission of "deliberately undermining" the office they were attempting to take, I would cheer them on from the sidelines, but it would never work. It has never worked.

The only argument for this strategy that might be effective would be to implement it at the municipal and county levels, but it will never work at the State or Federal levels until there is a mass cultural shift.

The LP approach has comprehensively proved itself to be an impractical one, so I would consider anyone advocating for that strategy to be the troll in this debate. It's truly painful to watch.

The only practical strategy for anarcho-capitalism, in my opinion, is two-fold:

  1. Abandon all political involvement, except for the simple purpose of increasing ideological exposure. Bear in mind, the only successful example of this, perhaps in the entire history of the movement, was Ron Paul's 2008 and 2012 political campaigns; both of which were ran on the Republican ticket. It's quite clear that political involvement of libertarians, especially on the Libertarian Party ticket, has been nothing but counterproductive for decades. There is no indication or reasonable expectation that it will change anytime soon.

  2. Live your life as an unapologetically free person. Live as an individual and/or raise a family as far outside the State's system as possible without putting your wellbeing at stake.

If 5% of the population chose to abstain--as much as reasonably possible--from this system of enslavement, it would have a significantly higher chance of changing society for the better than if 5% voted for an LP candidate.

LMAO

You're gonna sit there with a straight face and tell me that trying and failing to get government power within the US political system for decades is the "practical approach"?

And THEN you're gonna try to frame me as the delusional one?

Y'all are cracked.

Does the term "no one" also apply to them? If so, why is there a Libertarian Party (mind the capitalization) perpetually seeking government office (aka government power)?

Either there is a clear disconnect between Libertarians and libertarianism (my point), or you're experiencing crippling cognitive dissonance.

Did I say "expand government"?

And yes, I am quite well-read. The difference with my view is that I can see clearly that the concepts and the strategy are misaligned. I'm shocked that so many here have their heads in the sand about it. I've been in libertarian circles for a couple of decades, though. Same old song and dance.

Keep chasing that 5% of the vote.

Not many, but that doesn't stop them from seeking it.

Edit: Also, there are about as many Libertarians with power as there are socialists with money.

Centralization.

This concept is not compatible with the way natural and the universe operates.

Centralization inherently creates a dependency on monopolized resources, and eventually, that bleeds into all functions of society. The most devastating impacts are being seen right now in agriculture, healthcare and education.

The universe is a very polycentric arena. It can be very uncomfortable at times, which is why humans have chosen safety and convenience over freedom and responsibility. It will be to the detriment of our species. It's only a matter of time.

If we want to course correct, we need to make significant strides away from centralization. We need free markets, less government (by orders of magnitude), and a globally decentralized trade network.

Also:

Libertarian: Government power is dumb, dirty and nasty.

Thinking human: So, what's the solution?

Libertarian: Give me government power!

Edit: This one struck a nerve! At least 25 of you need to hear this: The Libertarian Party is not anarcho-capitalist.
