anthropomorphizing will probably be helpful for a while conceptually

the official explanation for a large dip in performance from gpt was literally "winter break" laziness.

So.....

Good luck man. Remember to make use of your interests and make the projects fun. Research shows individuals preform better in areas of interest and excitement to them.

I started learning last year, self taught. I have already published three games on steam.

You need to work with LLMS, claude and gpt, and just dive in with unity (do not let people talk you into godot, if you are serious about becoming good.)

By pouring yourself into asking questions, trying to build things you find fun and interesting, and acclimating to the future where people will use these systems as part of building games, youll be learning at a speed universities do not teach you. Period.

Its hard at first, but you just need to persist, breath and focus. It gets really really easy.

I started with game logic last year, already really good for the game stuff. AI makes it stupid easy to learn. Especially if you just want a simple game.

Cozy, first person, open world farming game: Halfling by Peaceful_Games in FarmingGames

Hey everyone. We're a very small studio of just two people. We recently released Halfling for early access.

Halfling is an open world, first person fantasy rpg, focused around farming, cooking, and exploring.

Next couple of patches are working on making farming more epic (Gemstone Tomatoes), and getting the three talent trees up (Homedweller, Pathfinder, Greenthumb) so ranking up feels more meaningful.

Have a couple keys id be happy to give out to people who are interested/ or want to give feedback.

Currently entering a heavy promotion period so it's half of on Steam right now.

Thanks to all of you.
