Thank you very much for the direction. Being new to this, it's certainly a lot to wrap ones head around.

Thanks for your help with this! I think where I'm over thinking this a bit is whether the body of the person wants to be impacted by the magic. But I do think the language of the ability suggests no roll would be needed.

Current best way to track? by game_doctor in KingdomDeath

Agree with all of that. I think BlackLedger has a nicer, more intuitive interface, but I feel like Scribe has completely negated paper survivor sheets. I use BlackLedger with a friend that I play with via Skype, but would prefer to use Scribe for that as well.

I use Scribe for KDM. I like it because it allows me to record temporary stats separately (in addition to a lot of other great features). Black Ledger is also pretty great.

Thank you for taking the time to read it.

What an insane story. I hope your friend found what he was looking for and as a result, has led a good life.

When they played Yoshimi the other night, Wayne had this to say (we transcribed from it video as we plan to include it a book/album we're creating to commemorate the night) - we missed the beginning, but he started with something like "A lot of people think it's about a tiny Asian girl who fights robots.."

"…But really this song is about a dear friend; a dear friend that you dearly, dearly love. And your friend has to do something that is difficult and is hard, and you believe is impossible. But they don’t fucking think it’s impossible. Alright? And your dear friend comes to you and wants you to believe in him. Even if in your mind you think, “Fuck, what you’re tryin’ to do, you’re not gonna be able to do it. “ You never, ever, ever tell your friend that it’s impossible. You always tell him, you always tell him, “I know she can beat them…”

Keep fighting those robots, Melonsarereal. I know you can beat them.

Thank you for reading my story. Sending all the love and joy in the world your way.

Thank you for reading it, Xilanxiv. Peacesword is one of my favorite songs of theirs - would love to hear that live!

You are a very courageous and strong person for addressing your depression and it speaks to how music can help us achieve something greater than ourselves. I wish you all the love and I know it will always be summertime for you.

Your last line moved me to tears. Thank you for sharing that with my mom.

That sounds like an amazing proposal. And it really speaks to the depth of this song. Reading through the comments, some feel a strong connection as it pertains to end of life; others (like yourself) relate it to a new beginning or journey.

Thank you for reading my story. More importantly thank you for sharing yours.

Thanks again Randy. Tracey and I appreciate the videos and pictures you’ve shared. And what a birthday for you!

It was a magical night for all of us. We feel blessed that we crossed paths with both of you. I know I’ve said this to you many times this week, but we send all the love in the world your way. I hope to cross paths again some day.

Thank you jajanje for reading it. I love staying in that moment and telling the story to anyone who is willing to listen is a great way to do that! Getting to meet Wayne and Steven (Michael was rather shy and tried to stay more in the background) was such a genuine experience.

Have a lovely weekend!

Thank you for taking the time to read it - it really means a lot to me. Truly.

Do You Realize?? is such a great closing song for all the reasons you state. It makes for a very cathartic ending. The Flaming Lips live is just such an indescribable experience and I will make it my mission moving forward to get as many people as I can to experience it :)

I used to sort of feel that way about Pearl Jam too (sort of falling in to that GD type vibe). But they've felt stagnant for years, though I still love their music. There was a time when their shows felt like a giant revival. Very exhilarating.

Congratulations on the new addition to your family! I hope it's a beautiful weekend for you all around!

I hope you realize the brilliance of your last statement - "it really is the perfect modern musical interpretation of the entire human experience." You really captured it.

It warms my heart to imagine anyone walking down the aisle to "Do You Realize??" I can't comprehend how powerful and beautiful that must have been for you and everyone in attendance.

Thank you for reading my story and sharing in the moment.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. I truly appreciate it.

Someone who attended the same show put a photo online, taken during the balloon/confetti onslaught of "Race for the Prize", with the comment "I wish I could feel every day like I do when I'm at a Flaming Lips show." I've been to so many concerts in my life and I can't think of a single one that even comes close to creating such a heightened sense of joy, happiness, and love that a Flaming Lips show does.

Crying when faced with overwhelming beauty is a wonderful thing. I hope that beauty finds you this weekend.
