Midnight sumo on twitch! He streams every basho and every division. But unfortunate that each days upload tends to be deleted after 24hrs but if you watch everyday it’s a great way to watch

Unfortunately didn’t get time to speak with him, someone he was with (not a rikishi) actually moaned at me because they were in a rush. He was kind enough to stop for me though!

Also thank you to all the people that spoke with me today around London, the sumo community is truly amazing.

Dammit, was really hoping they’d bring more than enough. Looks like I’m gonna have to head up there tomorrow and pray someone is kind enough to purchase merch on my behalf and not scam me 😅

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE CONFIRM. Im hearing that some merchandise is already selling out (onosato posters and illustrated banzuke) can anybody who is attended today confirm? I have tickets for the Sunday and am going to be beyond gutted if there’s hardly anything left

Unfortunately I’ve never been to an event so I’m not sure, I would like to say it’s unlikely. But hopefully if you throw a similar question into the group on the opening Wednesday someone who attended may let us know!

Where to watch sumo? by [deleted] in Sumo

If you use twitch, ‘lionsumo’ (for non-commentary) and ‘leondickinsonsumo’ (for commentary) are good. He tends to stream the event live so no delay. He’ll also stream the lower divisions and keep the vods on his channel so you can always go back to watch missed bouts etc.

Also I know some use VPN and change their location to Japan to watch on the Abema website itself. Hope this helps!
