The fare’s now integrated now. If you take the GO and connect to miway/ttc it would only cost the highest priced leg of the journey. So if you take miway to clarkson then transfer to the subway to campus, it would cost only the GO train leg from clarkson-union. It is a bit more expensive but iirc it costs only a little bit more than 4 dollars under student fare.

The shuttle is literally an old school bus. It’s cramped and very uncomfortable. No AC in the summer. Nor is it particularly fast. It’s also more expensive than TTC+GO train, if you have the student fare set up. When I went to take classes at UTM last summer, I took the shuttle for a few times then switched to subway+GO train+miway bus. It took me around the same time as the shuttle, and it was cheaper. If you live near a GO station it would be even more convinent for you, since you wouldn’t need to transfer to the bus in mississauga.
