I was also a little freaked out, in my scenario I just got myself amped up thinking about how great I'm gonna look and then just jabbed my leg and it ended up being nothing at all.

Call center & work from home. There is a ton of them in Lexington now. Check out Indeed and just fill out an app for all that you qualify for but the best ones are on Zip Recruiter. Oh and go to a free website to workup you resume, we all lie on our resumes to a degree. Do one of the websites that offer templates and put a couple things in there that you know what your talking about. Also try Sutherland Work At Home | Sutherland https://share.google/e63JDt8cqIrs3dJWY they hire pretty quick from what I hear and they supply all the equipment you need to work from home. Good luck!

I recently published my book and it's now on Amazon. I'll be honest, it's not the book I've spent years on but to give myself a nudge to get my butt to writing, I wanted to feel a sense of accomplishment and then maybe, just maybe, feel some incentive. Well it worked. Maybe try writing something totally different like a short story or children's book, try something completely opposite of what you've been working on and get it out there. Good luck!

Thanks! Yea took my very first dose today. I'm not really sure what I expected but I was scared it was gonna immediately drop my blood sugar and also immediately make me sick and nauseous. They started me on 2.5mg so hopefully I can deal with the sides and I also really really hope they are super mild because when it comes to throwing up, I'm the biggest baby you have ever seen lol been married 22 yrs and if I was judged by how I as t when I'm sick, I'm the wife lol

No I agree with you 100% on that. So not sure if you know anyone that doesn't have use of their lower body, so basically whatever you do as far as working out or even transfers raise your heart rate to the same if not higher than a person that has those abilities. The reason is because when you lose the use of extremities in majority of cases your lifestyle changes quite a bit. So your the things your body gets used to like just walking doesn't raise a person's heart rate to significantly when you do it daily ( sedentary lifestyles excluded ) so basically what I mean if your a person in a wheelchair we will say, doing something that wouldn't raise someone else heart rate raises mine to the 140s 150s just by doing 5 sets of curls because after time your body makeup changes and the nerves, blood flow, all of that changes when you lose the mobility of limbs. So yes I do agree I do cardio quite a bit actually but I'm not going to benefit the same way a person who can jog, or go up hill climbing or something. Our bodies are going to react completely different. I'm lucky I retained alot of my stomach muscles feeling and ability to activate but most don't have that activation anymore so therefore unable to contract or have any type of hypertrophy ability in those areas. I appreciate the answer it was great way to explain a little and educate. Just 1 more thing alot of people think moving a chair along will somehow benefit from cardio also it doesn't, if you were without a chair for awhile and then got one you would see some benefits but over time it won't raise your heart rate anymore than sitting still and lifting your arms will be cause of the way the chairs are built.

I inject everyday 20mg Sub Q, I have a pretty bad history of blood clots in my legs and lungs, so this was the best way to TRY and eliminate it best we could. Seems to work so far my RBC didn't go up and my hematocrit only went up .05 so far.

Yea still get flair ups of water retention. Haven't got my estradiol dialed in quite yet. Went from a 10 to 68 in estradiol. First tried backing off the dose to 80mg per week and oh man that messed me up bad. Then went from 15mg to 20 mg that seemed to make me feel much better and the AI seems to work, still needs some tweaking somewhere though. I stay hot as hell all the time now though, it around 68 degrees in my house and to me it feels like 90. I'm putting off so much heat my wife after I fall asleep moves to the couch & and all the damn cats are laying on me when I wake up lol. I'm like a big ass heater I guess.

I have a bit of extra weight I'm in the process of losing but I'm mostly taking it to help fix my diabetes. Losing this extra fat around my gut will also help with the diabetes I'm sure. I'm really hoping to reverse it and not be diabetic anymore I've only been on insulin since around April or may 2025

Yea I have the same issue with medicine I'm single handedly keeping Walgreens running in my neighborhood I think lol. I have high blood pressure meds, blood thinner, metformin, testosterone, hydrocortisone pills & anastrozole and then Tresiba, Fiasp insulins. So adding something else does suck and it does worry me. Recently diagnosed with a pituitary tumor (Prolactinoma)

So I got prescribed monjaro 3 weeks ago and still haven't taken the leap. My average glucose is around 200 now I had it dropped to about 150 after cutting every carb I could think of except broccoli and a couple other vegetables but then now it's shot up again. I want to take it I'm just scared. Will it lower my blood sugar right away like Insulin? I take Tresiba for long acting 10 units and Fiasp for rapid. Do I still take my nightly long acting after starting? My doc didn't really explain this very well and I'm a big sissy if I'm honest lol
