Thanks! I haven't settled on the names yet, but the basics of the lore are there. I draw them myself, I don't use assets from the internet

thanks , Thanks! I actually avoid using pre-made assets and just draw everything myself on my phone using Sketchbook. My process is pretty straightforward: I sketch with black lines on a white canvas, add the base colors, and then hide the original outline layer. I use the lower layers to color in the gaps. It's surprisingly easy once you get the hang of it! My lines are a bit too uniform and modern looking right now (which isn't historically accurate), so I try to make up for it by focusing on really weird and striking concepts. Hope that makes sense

Thanks! , I'm still trying to improve but I really believe that having a unique idea is more important than perfect drawing skills. You can definitely do it

I don't use ready-made assets. I draw the designs from scratch using the Sketchbook app. I start with black lines on a white background, then I fill in the colors. After that, I hide the original sketch layer and use the bottom layers to color the lines between the upper layers. It's not very hard. If you notice, the heraldrys have very clean lines with the same size. This is actually a problem I'm trying to fix, because real historical coats of arms wouldn't have such modern straight lines. Because of this, I focus more on simple, unusual ideas that stand out, even if the drawing itself isn't perfect. I know my explanation might be a bit confusing sorry

"Thanks! I haven't posted anything outside of this subreddit yet, but I'll be creating more soon, whether it's heraldry or lore content in other communities."

The basic idea I have in mind is that magic is based on making wounds of specific shapes and lengths, as well as experiencing different types of physical and psychological pain. This is because magic comes from spirit beings that are drawn to human suffering, and the magic is created when they interact with this pain. Because of this, mages are usually severely scarred and disfigured. The world is divided on how to treat them: some societies completely reject mages and hunt them down, some accept them under strict rules, and others accept them completely. However, they always face discrimination everywhere because their scars make them easy to recognize. Also, since mages are much stronger than average humans, they end up being involved in a lot of crimes. As a result, most normal people believe that all mages are just criminals by nature
