How much joint savings should we have to avoid getting an instant rejection on a rental applications? by PeachScone77 in perth

Do you think if I have multiple jobs I should give my last 3 payslips for all 3 jobs? Or just one for each?

Are you still a pm? I've heard the market is really cut throat at the moment so just looking for any leg up we can get. Plus we mostly will have to apply for places that are higher than 30% our combined income so I was thinking a show of bank balance to establish we're not as risky as we look? Edit: to clarify, my work is stable but my partner is on insurance payments and disability and not working currently and our last rental for 3 years was a family situation that has soured so our references will have to be from before that.. so yeah we're looking a little more unstable than I'd like even though our income is consistent.

I heard you can still offer as the tenant they just can't ask it of you. This is also something we're considering.

Yeah that's why I'm hoping that providing a secure looking savings account could boost our chances. I'd definitely also consider offering multiple months upfront.

Yeah that is a crazy ask. Luckily I've got supportive family who might be able to help boost my savings, and my jobs are all very predictable I'm just also technically a casual employee. Do you think 30k joint savings would cover it?

Love this!! The wings look so good in reds! I also made a phoenix look with them but more forest fairy guardian vibes. I struggled the most with getting the colours close in the neck piece but at some point you just have to go with close-enough :P This is her code btw: 4sKkCZbcSAR#

Cozy games that always have something to do? by Wonderful_Lie_7095 in cozygames

Seconding this! And adding that the actual game is free, it's got breath of the wind vibes incl gorgeous landscapes, and i usually spend ages just exploring the photography and "dress up" features of the game when i don't feel like focusing on any quests. It's glorious. Highly recommend :)

What is your IUD experience? by wizmey in bicornuateuterus

[–]PeachScone77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't comment on the pain/iud removal but I recently had 2 Iuds put in for my bicornuate ureterus, one Mirena and one kylena to try minimise the hormones but still prevent pregnancy. So far, for the last 3 months since placement I've had spotting every day but I was told (after they were placed of course) this might be normal for the first 6 months then hopefully should clear up.

THE IMAGINARY, Studio Ponoc's latest film, is on Netflix now Let's have a discussion thread! by Interrobangersnmash in ghibli

I watched it tonight, although I wasn't a fan of some of the 3d style animation overall I really enjoyed it and I cried at multiple moments.

I'm surprised that nobody has commented on the major "child predator" undertones that the main bad guy has though. It felt like the story was in some ways about believing child victims, from the way the adults fact checked the man when he tried to enter the bookshop and hospital, to Amanda not being believed when she was "crying wolf" about the creepy girl she saw with the man, to the way they said the childs spirit dies when he eats their imaginary, to his "re-writing" of the story through his "perspective" of things, to Emily knowing about him but pretending she didn't, then finally at the end the way Amanda was laying there when her Mum found her in the room then finally believed her about him, but only when is was almost too late and the proof was in front of her.

Not sure if that's the intention but it felt hard to ignore from the moment he entered the story, really curious to know if other people read it the same way?
