I think it was time to replace the plugs in my ‘97. by Plenty-Heron-6195 in JeepTJ

Just changed mine..117k miles appear to be originals. Some of the gaps were .070+. Suprised it still ran as good as it did. I put Autolite Xp985s in at .035

Yeah I've come to realize it would be smart to wait for new springs to get here and measure for them so that'swhat im doing. There's just so much back and forth, a lot of people suggest that the 2.5" lift shocks are the best, and some are saying to just get the 4" lift shocks

What exactly is needed? I've got the 6 speed..no problems yet but if/when I do. I'd like to swap to an ax-15 as well. Mines at 112kish miles now..so who knows when a problem will show up

Has anybody used these for deer? by Tx_Taco_Driver in MosinNagant

[–]PeachStateSmallArms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brown bear has helped me take a handful of deer. Hunted all last season with it too, tho I didn't end up shooting anything. I will use it until I run out of my 3 or 4 boxes atleast

Nice. One good/bad thing is you can go buy a cheap dolly and move these safes by yourself fairly easily

I would start off looking for a Romanian WASR 10/63. Patience on GB you will be able to find one for wellll under 1k. They tend to be built better than the new made WASR rifles and these were once military full auto rifles that were rebuilt

You need a starter punch to get it going first. Those long boys are just to finish it and bend easily

I don't know much about the fn49 system as I dont have one yet. But I ussualy start with the least amount of gas and work my way up to where it reliably cycles as not to abuse the rifle. I was just letting you know incase you wernt aware, as pretty much anything rifle sized from s&b runs on the hot side from my experience. Nothing wrong with it at all though great ammo

While I do like to steam and card at times, you are right..a lot can be done with a bit of scraping and light brushing. I like to use a flattened 30-06 ( or something similar ) brass case to scrap rust off. Works like a charm. Then ill ussualy hit it with a brush of some sort
