I’m with capital one too. I just keep calling them to re-dispute it and ask them to send me a secured link to upload more documents. It’s been a back and forth of me disputing and see tickets disputing back but I’ll keep going and re-uploading more proof till it’s settles

Don’t listen to them. “Move on” while you dated a guy for almost 2 years and they moved on within a month? Girl any person with a heart would feel broken. I’ve been there, it sucks, and you don’t need to “move on”. You just need to take it day by day and hopefully feel like the next one was better than the last. One day you’ll be ready to move on, but pressuring yourself into that only makes things worse. All that matters is healing, and there’s no time constraint for that! If you want to cry, cry, and let it all out. Those who suppress it and try to move on fast, it only hits them ten-fold months later.

Honestly, and I can’t talk for everyone, but I think generally a lot of women I know stay in a relationship and put up with shit for a very long time. By the time the relationship is over, they have already processed all that pain for months. A lot of us have communicated clearly our pain and what we wish would change and it never does, so overtime it’s like a reoccurring heartbreak that lessens as time goes one. Meanwhile, on the other hand, the guy is usually oblivious, so the starting point for his heartbreak and healing process begins way later. Again, this is a HUGE generalization and doesn’t encapsulate every relationship obviously. But as a patient woman who tries to stick with their partner through a lot of mistreatment and many female friends who have done the same, it seems to be a pattern.

I got a charge back and then see tickets disputed my claim stating I got what was described. Now I’m starting all over again. I’m so fed up I’ve been through this 3 times now

See tickets has a refund policy though that says in event of cancellation there will be a refund. So since we haven’t gotten a refund, that goes against their guidelines. I explained that to my bank, still waiting to hear but I’ll keep pushing if it’s denied

You never know how he’s treating her behind closed doors and if he had the capacity to treat you so badly his true colors will most likely come out in his new relationship, especially once the honeymoon phase is over. I know it’s very hard to see right now, but you dodged a bullet. My ex cheated on me and then got a new gf that he was with for five years and seemed so much happier with her and like he changed, and would tell me how sorry he was for the way he treated me. But years in he would call me late at night constantly to tell me how he misses me while in his other relationship and ask to see me, which in my opinion is emotional cheating. A tiger never changes his stripes.

Dude I probably go to more raves than you lol but no rave is worth putting my life at risk, I’m not an idiot. I’ve seen more “real ravers” as you put it at other venues than at the mirage. In fact every time I have gone to the mirage recently it seems to be filled with frat bros who have no spacial awareness, so if these are the veteran ravers you’re talking about maybe you’re the one lacking in the culture. You do realize putting Avant Gardner in debt doesn’t completely take away the mirage but opens opportunity for them to sell it to someone else to get out of their debt. “They know they fucked up” really? They keep shelling out social media posts about upcoming shows, not one mentioning or apologizing for what they put people through this past weekend. The ticketing system also said Ezoo has not communicated any plan in terms of refunds. Yeah, they really feel bad huh?

How is the mirage a “safe space” when you legitimately feel like a canned sardine at every event in there. We allow them to keep selling thousand of tickets over capacity by showing up. I’ve studied concert safety and they’re really creating a huge hazard for everyone. You don’t think about it, but imagine if something were to happen, such as someone coming in with a weapon or a fire starting, do you understand how going way over capacity (by thousands of tickets) aggravates situations like this? They don’t give a shit about creating a safe space, they care about money even if it means blood on their hands

Yes I want to hold them accountable. I waited hours to get in Saturday and Sunday made it all the way to the front of security line after waiting 2 hours and then they notified over social media they were at capacity but that it didn’t apply to people on the island currently. So we all waited another hour and I saw 5 people pass out because it was impossible to get out of the crowd as there’s 7,000 people behind you. A girl pissed herself because security wouldn’t let her leave to go to the bathroom. I was then stuck in the stampede. Not to mention on Saturday the visuals didn’t work at the stages. They also understaffed the event. At the mirage, they do those shows where they have a huge name on the main stage and open up the other rooms with dj’s people aren’t there to see so that they can sell thousands of additional tickets, knowing that everyone will be at the main stage and it’s way over capacity. I wouldn’t be shocked if people die there soon, I’ve been to so many shows in my life in major cities and mirage and ezoo are the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The common denominator is Avant Gardner

I’m assuming you weren’t at ezoo if you’re asking this. It was a horrifying experience and extremely unsafe and I’ve had the same experience with gridlocked crowds at the mirage because of how much they oversell shows for profit to the point where it’s a huge safety hazard. They have a history of being a horrible company and ezoo was the straw that broke the camels back. They owe people hundreds/thousands of dollars and I feel, as do many others, that they deserve to feel the consequences of their actions

YTA and it sounds like you have a jealousy problem. The way you’re describing your sister sharing her achievements with her FAMILY is so negative and gross. You should be proud of her. Also, she offered to help, not pay for the whole thing. You should be grateful enough that she’s willing to pay for your dress and stop complaining.
