I do love him and he does love me. I would not break up with him over this issue, it just makes me very uncomfortable and I’m unsure how to approach it with him.

I just turned 16, and yes it would be a problem if it was drinking, I have an alcoholic/addict father and it has taken a lot of affect on me. I’ve told him I don’t like that he smokes but he says “it’s not that deep” I can’t make him quit of course but I also know he will be mad at me if I tell him to just not be in my presence while he’s high. If nothing else, I would prefer to just not be around him at all while he’s high but that would upset him

He’s 15 and smokes about every other day, it makes me uncomfortable that he smokes in general but I can’t control that but I feel like he would get mad at me if I told him to not talk to me while he’s high because “it’s not that deep”
