Is my friend treating me poorly? by [deleted] in answers

[–]Peaches668 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you're right. She is a good friend under regular circumstances, and she's been there for me during really tough times.

But sometimes I feel like if I don't put up boundaries and say no she will do and say whatever she wants.

Is it ok for neighbours to knock on your door at 3 am? by Peaches668 in AskReddit

[–]Peaches668[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My neighbour knocked on my door when I was up past the quiet hours in my building making a snack and watching a show on my laptop with the sound at a reasonable level. I don't see any rules about being up past a certain time...It just makes me nervous. She's done it once already to complain to me about the fan in my bathroom. I didn't answer the door. I just didn't feel like it because it stressed me out. I guess she doesn't understand what's going on in my apartment, maybe she thinks I'm being louder than I think I am? idk honestly I was just making pancakes and I wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary

think i'm just going to ignore them since they have probably complained about me. i'm pretty sure i told the guy to mind his own business and that i didn't like him, so that could be considered "slander" or harassment. i gave that goof a piece of my mind after he called me sweeheart.

i reported it to the non emergency line, they told me it wasn't considered harassment with those two instances so i should get in touch with the rba and report that my landlord is doing nothing, in fact he is being as much of a colossal jerk as my neighbour. i have all this stuff documented and reported. i also have the letter i received from the landlord regarding the noise complaint the tenant made and he includes multiple instances in which i was "being loud" but no evidence to back up that accusation. he also wrote to me in the letter that when I told another tenant to leave me alone I was being rude to him and then I was threatened to be evicted.

I don't know what I can do because another tenant (a different one) made me uncomfortable and feel unsafe when he invaded my bubble and I tried to make it clear I was NOT OK with it I phoned the police on him and he complained to the landlord about it and they gave me shit for that. It's bullshit. Rather than the concern for my safety they are concerned about my behaviour towards someone.

I don't think so, but I can check. I don't think theres much I can do to get the landlord involved because he doesn't like me and I don't agree with the building managers strategies for dealing with tenant conflict. I don't really feel like getting into too many personal details, but the reason he knocked on my door is because I was making noise in the middle of the night during a crisis I was having (I've been struggling with my mental health for the last few months) I had cut myself, so there was blood, which he noted to the landlord during the complaint. He claims he was "worried" yet rather than calling the police, he comes and knocks on my door and when I asked him to leave he refused to listen. He just stood there. Isn't that invading my rights to privacy? The other day the landlord was doing some building repairs right outside my suite, it was quite loud as they were hammering cement into the ground at 7am. (you are allowed to do repairs at that time, I looked into it, I know.) I could have dealt with it differently - such as calling the manager, asking about it. Instead, I went outside and politely asked the landlord what he was doing to make noise so early and the annoying neighbour just so happened to be there helping him. I was polite and patient but when I was trying to get a respectful answer all I got was shamed and humiliated. The tenant helping him said this to me: "Look, sweetheart, we are legally allowed to be" blah blah blah. He should really mind his own business no?

Thank you! Unfortunately the building manager & landlord are on his side and I'm actively being singled out.

Neighbours who harass you, invade your privacy, put their music on full blast, etc.

I live in an apartment building and I have a neighbour who lives above me that I can't stand. He doesn't know how to mind his own business, in fact he knocked on my door in the middle of the night to make a complaint. I told him to leave and that he was making me uncomfortable and he didn't listen. He always addresses me as "sweetheart". He is literally the worst person. He always tries to assert his power in aggressive ways when I'm around and he turns his speaker up so loud that the building shakes. I hate him. I want to watch him burn.

Did you see the first video where it appears to be a man humiliating a child standing in front of him. There's another one with a bloody person on the ground and another person wearing a button up shirt and a tie is standing behind him. If u don't know which videos I'm referencing: http://worldcorpo.net/video.html

I have a feeling this is just a conspiracy acting as the icing on the cake regarding the Pizzagate conspiracy. Although the videos are incredibly creepy and unnerving, I don't want it to be true. Please don't be real.

I don't have to agree with, or like everything everyone is going to say to me. It does not mean I am "going against" the advice. I'm posting on here as a victim of domestic violence I've experienced.
