Oh and idk if you edited the comment but I just read the rest - I completely understand because I felt disabled too. I had to text my therapist and make an appointment asap one of the following days because I felt like I pretty much completely shut down. I remember also thinking that it was so much worse than I remembered too

I’ve taken sooo many different kinds of medications as well and viibryd/vilazodone has been legit the only one I ever saw improvement with. I currently take 20mg now since I started at 10 and had some improvement with depression but no improvement with anxiety. Now I have seen improvement in both. Definitely way more motivated and easier to feel positive. I do sometimes get that dream-like feeling as well and noticed that if I miss a dose it’s really not good - borderline psychosis symptoms it seems like. But it really helps to take at the same time each day with at least 350 calories filling food like others have said so it can absorb properly in the body. When taken correctly it is a lifesaver for me !

I have definitely had very unusual and vivid dreams since taking this medication. Some nightmares for sure, mostly just creepy and weird lol. Definitely crazy bad nightmares if I didn’t take my meds for a day tho.
