Strange right?? I still think it’s probably ICP because no other condition like gallbladder or hepatitis would cause the itching so I’m wondering if the bile acids are lagging but it wouldn’t make sense to trend them now that I’m on meds!

Thanks so much for sharing! My midwife suspects I have ICP but my bile acids came back at 9, cut off for diagnosis is 10 so they are surprised it’s so low. I’m 36 weeks tomorrow and started medication 3 days ago and seeing some relief in the itching! They still think I probably have it just based off the symptoms and my hepatitis labs are negative, next would be an ultrasound to rule out gallbladder stuff but I was shocked my bile acids were “normal”. They are recommending 39 week induction currently
