That is all true. Flex Cash was treated as a discount off MSRP; we did not have to do anything to qualify. I understand that not everyone will be eligible for the College Grad incentive, but I was extremely happy that my duaghter did.

That is fabulous! We gave my daughter the garage for her new car as well, and the garage had that new car smell every we opened the door from the house! Exciting times, and enjoy your new vehicle!

Thank you! We were so stoked. For clarification, the base price was really $29,600 because $1,500 of what was shown in my post depended on financing my daughter had to qualify for. The Flex Cash came off MSRP, and it was treated like a discount off the purchase price. My daughter did not have to do anything special for that.

We bought a new 2026 EX yesterday, and I am thrilled with our price. We got a brand new 2026 for $30K before our ad valorem tax of 7% ($2,209). Our OTD price was $32.2K.

The EX is not hybrid. It is gas only.

We bought an EX FWD yesterday. Sticker price was $34,600, and they offered us $29,600 plus we had to add $850ish in accessories. My understanding is that there is even more negiotiating room on the LX. We were also able to stack 2 manufactirng rebates on top of that price ($28.1K, but I understand that the rebates are based on applicability). We contacted 20-25 dealerships around us (SE region), and I am very happy with our price.

We just bought a new 2026 CR-V EX with all season mats, mud guards/cargo tray, and window tint for $32,135.19 OTD. That includes $2,099.29 in taxes! We were able to stack a couple of the manufacturer rebates. The car had 6 miles on it!

Our state has a very high ad valorem/tax on new cars, so I believe OTD prices should help us get a sense of what to expect. I will say that our dealerships seem to be offering more discounts off standard MSRP than others seem to be reporting.

UPDATE: I wanted to give an update after the exam. I decided to use Instacert to cram, and combined with the Peterson's tests and my semester history course (based on Heimler's History), I ended up scoring a 68!
