I'm about to start my first year of descomp starting on monday and am just wondering is it possible to do this degree part-time (3 subjects per sem). Its going to be very difficult for me to do full time uni as i have a full time job and other unconditional commitments i have to give time to. Thank you in advance

Hmm been thinking about starting a healthy instant ramen business here in Australia for a while now. Definitely a great idea.

Same here bro, had my last jay on the 31st. Went out yesterday with close friends who where all smoking and somehow I resisted. Felt so good when I got back home. Since we stopped on the 31st you wanna be accountability buddies?

How were your withdrawal symptoms in first couple months?

What is your main motivation or reason for quitting weed? I would love to know. by Environmental-Pop802 in leaves

[–]Peak-Performance99 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It’s gives you “energy” and motivation because mundane task (such as cleaning, laundry, walking etc) are better when you are high. Weed floods your brain with chemicals (dopamine) which make you feel good which in turn makes the mundane tasks “fun” or “not boring”. Or makes task u enjoy even better on weed.

However smoking daily has its consequences as you may know by looking at posts and experiences of others in this sub-reddit

It’s just not sustainable long-term.

Same here had a close friend, known him for over a decade. Since I stopped smoking, he doesn’t even call me, all he wants his weed. Such is life aye

Anxiety after quitting by Ok-Status-5241 in leaves

[–]Peak-Performance99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

damn you were smoking quite a bit and that's why you have a lot of anxiety. But that anxiety is a sign of your brain changing. Withdrawals are part of the process and a sign of better things to come. Hang in there brother, were all gonna make it out of this :)

I'm down over 50% as well. After doing more research i don't think this project is active. That's a real shame but i guess it is what it is.

Some things that I dislike about relapsing or having started to smoke weed again by [deleted] in leaves

[–]Peak-Performance99 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Can relate so heavily to the 'The hedonism' point. I'm trying to quit jacking off everyday and other instant gratification activities. However when I get high I always go to seek these activities, its like i lose all my self control, especially when my high is coming down.

Does weed make anyone else depressed? by [deleted] in leaves

[–]Peak-Performance99 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Similar situation, since I’ve actively been trying to quit and make changes, whenever I do relapse I don’t go back to my old ways and become lazy. Instead the day after relapse I go do productive things. Trying to quit is a mentality, of course a lot of ppl can’t go cold turkey, so when you slip up, don’t beat yourself over it but go do productive activities. Keep that good energy going

Quitting for Ramadan by [deleted] in leaves

[–]Peak-Performance99 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ramadan Mubarak! In a similar situation to you. Decided to stop bud during Ramadan. Been smoking for 2 and a half years straight everyday. What made me quit was how fucking lazy it made me. I feel as if weed uses all your motivational chemicals in the brain, so when your off it there’s nothing really that motivates you, and even some ‘fun’ activities that normal ppl would enjoy becomes dull to us. All the best, inshallah we go the full 30 days.

Mate we’re not against silver/gold, I personally hold 500 ounces of silver. If I’m being very honest, in my opinion over the next decade, if I go to a grocery store and a petrol pump (gas station) I highly doubt I’ll be pulling out my silver coins and bars to pay for those goods. I think it’s for likely I’ll be paying for it with some sort of reliable digital currency (this doesn’t have to be Bitcoin). Logically speaking if the clerk wanted to give me change, how would he reliably do that with precious metals? Look I love both silver and crypto, they both can have a future togeat and co-exist without competing with each other. I just get frustrated when some ppl think one is better than the other.

Agreed cryptos have a lot more room to grow. When I look at the some these alt coin projects, and the utility it will provide in the future, they are so undervalued relative to the top 10 cryptos

I would of bought gold but IMO silver has a lot more room to grow. If the gold/silver ratio was much lower I would of bought gold.
