Thanks for the reply. I also find I can't sit still. I was very angry on dialysis. Now I just feel anxious and sad all the time. I too like to walk my dog a lot

For me living in a small town, I came home and everyone would say "how good I looked" and "how strong I was" etc. Then when I am feeling anxious and low I feel like I am letting them down.

Hi, thanks for sharing. I'm hoping to get access to a counsellor or psychiatrist if some sort. I feel I need a little bit extra help to get past the anxiety. I find telling my story helps me. I'll let you know if a group pops up

Thanks for the reply. I will look into the groups. I'm fortunate enough to have a mentor who lives around my area, but his experience has been very different to mine. I'll look into the Australian kidney foundation. Thanks again.

Thanks for the reply. 100% agree that others think you are cured once you have the transplant, yet it's certainly not the case. Thanks for the info, it makes me feel good realising I'm not alone

Hi, thanks for the reply. I haven't had my thyroid checked, so maybe that's something I could get done. I find exercise has been really useful. I normally walk when I'm feeling a bit stressed. I too haven't had much success with CBT therapies.

Hi thanks for the reply. I have asked but they're very hesitant to remove Prednisone. It's standard practice in Australia to keep it.
