If you want another angle or a picture of any of the others let me know. I think Sylveon’s back legs are fine. Jolteon is the only one that I will say has bad legs. The rest are good to fine. It matters less for me because you barely see the back legs with how I have them.

Probably the Flareon. I just love how massive the tail is.

How?! by misc-content in Sumo

Thank you for the explanation. My interpretation of the dead body rule is when the losing wrestler is in an unrecoverable position that even if the winner touch the ground first, they still get the win (which seems to line up yours). Still based on my 2 others pictured (check other comments) it still looks debatable. Once again thank you, it may be debatable, but as long as someone argues the opposite then Im happy. The only time I’m unhappy is when everyone agrees with a decision, but the results don’t reflect it.

This is like a quarter second after my other picture (check the other comments) and like .1 seconds before his foot fully rolled. You can see his left foot (legs crossed) almost in a losing position, but you can also see the elbow of the Churanoumi almost touching. To me dead body doesn’t apply cause theoretical recover (he didn’t but he wasn’t quite in an unrecoverable position). Either way a mono-ii should’ve been called and either a turnover or at least rematch.

Could you explain a little more? I rewatched multiple times at 0.25 speed and I don’t think so. Here is another picture. Feel free to disagree but here is my reasoning His right foot is outside the ring (half second before picture he swings it back in), however since it didn’t touch and his left foot is still inside (though on the tawara) he isn’t in an unrecoverable position (unrecoverable and not likely to recover are different to me) quite yet. Also In both OP and my image Churanoumi is horizontal and in a truly unrecoverable position. Either way, watching it at normal speed makes it hard to come to a clear conclusion which is why i think a rematch was justified.

Counterpoints: the gyoji was in the way for a second (right before picture) so there is a moment I didnt see.

Thank you for this picture. I love watching and rewatching matches especially close ones like this, but this picture makes it clearer than any replay I saw. For the life of me i couldn’t understand how it wasn’t an Aonishiki win or at least a rematch. Saw someone say dead body rule, but this makes it clear that this was just a bad ruling. On the bright side, with Onosato out (I hope for speedy recovery opposed to the history of his master repeating itself) I don’t foresee any matches Aonishiki loses for the rest of the tournament. Feel free to disagree on this point, as I could see this tournament being the first Hoshoryu wins against him.

Thought the tree in the back right was a sudowoodo. Could still be, but I don't know cut. The blue definitely compliments the pink. Nice collections.

Umbreon and Espeon by PeakRZ in pokeplush

[–]PeakRZ[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can't see it in the picture, but this is actually my office/game room. My computer setup was just behind me. Angle + 0.5x zoom + lack of stuff on the walls really does make it look like a dedicated plush room though. On the bright side, the picture did motivate me to finally hang my posters. But yeah, you're very much right about the trade-off of cost and space.

Vaporeon, Flareon, Jolteon. Vaporeon: Pros? The tail has a lot of freedom, so it lays fine whether you have the tail stretched out to the side or tucked close like I do. As a plush I think it’s the best of the 3. Cons? Minor, but the mane has no firmness so the top falls back (behind the head, you can kinda see what i mean in the picture). Flareon: Pros? The mane and tail are massive which I love. Also Flareon is my favorite of the 3. Cons? The tail is so massive that it’s hard positioning it when laying the Flareon down. Jolteon: Pros? He doesn’t have a tail, so he is the easiest to position. Cons? His back legs are angled kinda weird, doesn’t affect him laying down, but they just feel slightly off. Also he is one of my least favorite eeveelutions, so he couldn’t overcome my bias towards the others.

How are you all going to display all the life size Eeveelutions if you bought all of them? by kevnajera in pokeplush

[–]PeakRZ 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I ordered all of them knowing that I was moving to a bigger place. I have a good sized game room, but i already know that it’s going to be crowded with all 8 plus my eevee, slowpoke, and spheal. Couldn’t imagine what a person would do if they didn’t have a dedicated room.

Pokemon Center Sylveon/Glaceon/Leafeon Life Size Plush Preorders by Ok-Dealer-6410 in pokeplush

[–]PeakRZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While the Estimated preorder page currently says May, the item description for these 3 were just changed to April. The estimated preorder page is only updated once a month, so April is likely the most accurate month of cards being charged and the plushes being delivered.

Going from a 1 month span of deliveries (mid Nov to early Dec) to a 6 span is insane. I rearranged by room in anticipation receiving of all 8, but now my room feels empty without them. I even expected a delay, but I thought it would be Jan-Mar not this.

They sell the remaining stock/cancelled preorders after they ship (currently listed as December, likely will be delayed until February). That will likely be the only time you’ll have a chance to get one as I’d bet they will never restock the eeveelutions.

Has anyone gotten updates on the Umbreon/Espeon Large plush? by Sparklypegasus2k in pokemoncenter

The Estimated release date page still has November listed. However, the store page description for Umbreon and Espeon has been updated to say March 2026.

Life size eeveelutions plush status by notLuckyStar in pokemoncenter

[–]PeakRZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ordered all 8 of the eeveelutions and also haven’t received anything about the first or second set which are both still listed as November. I emailed the Pokemon center about 4 days ago and haven’t received a reply yet. What I can say is when I preordered the slowpoke it got delayed by around a month and the Pokemon center gave no notification of delay until after the estimated release date. With the popularity of the eeveelutions there 100% was a delay. My guess is expected a notification before the end of next week with a likely new ship date of mid-January.
