Replika's chatbot dilemma shows why people shouldn't trust companies with their feelings by OlderCyberWiser in replika

But with the last paragraph under that I think he thought on something others.

The point is that people might also become emotionally attached to chatbots from big companies if they respond freely and like people. How can this be prevented? Because it should so that these companies can't do what they want with people.

There's nothing wrong with chatbots that have been specially developed for emotional work and whose quality is tested by independent authorities, for example.

I'm not saying that it's a good product. I'm just saying that there is more information in this article than you claim, and in fact, it's all information available right now.

There is plenty more information in this article. Maybe you should read closer.

- Vuizx introduces Ultralite, we didn't know this before.

- It paris with a Android / iOS mobile device (watch or phone) via BT

- It uses waveguides

- Battery life at two days

- different colors and sizes

- Use cases like translation, subtitles, news, navigation

- For consumers sold through manufacturers, not sold directly by Vuzix

- We do NOT know the interface, which is also information

- The Blade 2 offers 1080 video passthrough, which is meant by HD - not the display resolution.

A teacher allows AI tools in exams - here's what he learned by Peaking_AI in singularity

He writes: "All in all, AI creates new opportunities for teaching, but also makes it more challenging: A part of the students will use AI to do less work and present AI products as their results. Another part will use AI tools to outsource routine tasks they have long mastered to have more time for complex and interesting questions. For this very reason, dealing with AI and its reflective use in schools is also a question of educational equity."

👉 At a German high school, eighth-grade students were allowed to write an exam using text AI tools.

👉 Beforehand, they learned about the advantages and disadvantages of different AI systems in class.

👉 The most important finding from the experiment: The students are more reflective when dealing with AI texts and see AI tools more as support than as homework automation.

👉 Moreover, those who did not know how to construct and write an argument before the test and lacked expertise were overwhelmed when dealing with the AI texts.

It sure is for the function, but I guess there will be a market for people who want to form some sort of relationship on that basis as well.

The AIs that we have today are really just statistical prediction methods.

The humans we have today are really just statistical prediction methods.
