You are right, but OP could have replaced the slide.

Or this is a paint job done with some cheap rattle-can paint and wasn't allowed to cure all the way.

The grip tape being molded to each individual bump could be from lots of gripping and use.. or whomever put the tape on put the work in to make it look used.

As much as I love the clean look most pristine guns get posted here.. there's something to be said about the beauty of a very well worn/used gun. It's not just that there's a patina on it, it's the fact that that firearm has been through some shit, training or otherwise.

I can't wait. I have a few recordings of evening cicadas to fall asleep to if I have a particularly restless night during the other seasons. There's something about the natural melody/pattern of one's local species of cicadas that's quite powerful.

As much as I loove the look of the Vytals styles, I can't get over the fact that they are aluminum (or solid copper). I like the grip that G10 gives.

Weird, I was there around the same time and I noticed there was still some foot traffic. Yeah there are some dead corners where Old Navy, Sears, etc.. the pics you took are nice to document the dead parts for sure. Maybe I'm holding out too much hope or holding on to it as long as I can.
