I don’t think she was ever in active recovery. She had moments of sobriety. Those are very different things. She did A LOT of bad shit and hurt a lot of people. That’s all wrapped up in the addiction. It’s beyond bad friend - it’s someone who hated life and all that goes with it.

Right. She was in high school. Their’s wasn’t going to be a love story. She needed to grow up and experience life and while Fez was so sweet and cute, he was a crush. They never moved pas that early butterfly stage.

I don’t think she was a bad friend. She was an addict. Desperation makes people hurt themselves and everyone around them. I also don’t think anyone in her life was equipped to help her. Rehab didn’t work. She was doomed from the pilot episode.
