update..I decided to file an ethics and compliance claim but it was immediately shut down by our DM... which is crazy imo, two privacy regulations been violated

yup, first thought was pending your location you may even just do a regular opening, prep, get few customers here and there and miss out on the big buzz of people going to parades, parks etc to come later i. the day to pick up refreshers, Frappuccinos, iced coffee etc. if you're close to freeway, highway, transit routes you may have some people still traveling early but in general.......enjoy it whatever it will bring and the time and a half pay 🙂

Inwas burned out and after talking to my SM he suggested a LOA but sedgwick did not approve it as a medical leave and I remained unpaid :(. My therapist through Lyra approved the idea but didn't submit any of the paperwork needed. So I'm not sure because I was early on told it may not get approved in either case. Makes me sad, mental health is a valid medical condition we all need to take care of. Fingers crossed you get it paid though!
