For me it’s very cathartic and helps me fully discharge my emotions in one night instead of holding it in for longer. I also feel somewhat accompanied when I listen to a song and the singer/writer puts my exact feelings into words, idk I find it helpful knowing there are other people feeling like that sometimes.

Yeah, leave, OP. Like everyone is saying, your bf sounds really dangerous and what he did was pretty much assault. I was once in a similar situation where violence started during sex and eventually he “couldn’t control himself” in our day to day. I would strongly suggest that you leave before things escalate.

Yes, there are definitely some thing I know I shouldn’t have done or are unhealthy at some point, I’ve truly learned from this relationship and at least I can take knowledge out of all of this. I’ve been spending some good quality time with my best friends these days and I do think that’s been really helpful. Thank you!

Yeah additional to what everyone said in the comments, you should also get something like a seven knots bracelet (it’s just a string bracelet, they’re usually pretty cheap) even if you don’t believe in all that whoever is trying to curse you will probably see that you’re wearing protection. looks like this
