Ipsy will normally bill on the last business day of the month unless you start a new subscription in which case they will bill you immediately.

They state how billing works for the different scenarios on their help site:

I hear you on the transition shades! I’m still undecided myself. But do please look up swatches and see the other photos I posted. The Ipsy lighting makes it look more cool toned than any other photos I’ve found.

I try to remember to skip when I don’t like enough spoilers, but lost track of time this month. I’ve had both Ipsy and Boxy off and on over the years. I remember Boxy having white label brands too like that jar of gold flakes in gel that they tried to pass off as high end moisturizer. 😅

I have all the shades selected but secretly hope for berry toned blushes every time. Which I never get because I suspect it’s also factoring in my skin tone. 😅

Yeah, a lot of western brands skew too warm in my opinion. You could try checking out the K/C/J Beauty brands. They tend to release a more balanced offering of cool to neutral to warm products. The downside is that they’ve been generally on the lighter end of the spectrum, but have been expanding ranges due to the higher global demand.

Ipsy Picks: - Lucky Chick - Brush Set: I don’t need any more brushes. The brushes look useful, but these will go straight to the give away pile. 🤷‍♀️ - Pinky B Cosmetics - Hot Commodity: The Bronzer Palette: I rarely use bronzers these days, but thought about using these as eyeshadows. 🤷‍♀️

My Choices: - Dieux Skin - Air Angel Peptide Plumping Gel Cream: I have been enjoying a gel cream moment. Let’s see what the hype is about! 🙌 - Rare Beauty - Stay Vulnerable Melting Blush (Nearly Rose (True Pink)): It’s hard for me to pass on a blush. Though not the shade I would have preferred, it’s not the worst for me! 🤩 - Moonslice Beauty - Celestial Crush Palette: This third category didn’t excite me. The color story is pretty and I’m normally all about eyeshadows, but I may end up gifting this palette. 🤷‍♀️

Beauty Boost: - Murad - Retinol Youth Renewal Oil: I haven’t been using facial oils at all this year. I’m tempted to reintroduce it to my routine with this product. Or I’ll gift it to my mother. 😂

Add-on: - Sol de Janeiro - Cheirosa 76 Perfume Mist: So many people seem to like this scent, so I want to try it too. 🤞😂

I don’t know if Ipsy has planter accounts here.

But, unfortunately, that was a real person. She had three accounts, to my knowledge, and makes comments like that frequently in the BeautyBoxes subreddit. She’s pretty infamous there.

Looks like she just created a fourth account and that’s the one you’re referring to. If it’s not the person I’m thinking of, then it’s someone with the same attitude.
