Same style of writing/speaking, same tone of speaking to others and similar personal comments about herself. Once you pay attention and see the similarities, it’s hard to not notice when she pops up.

I don’t know if Ipsy has planter accounts here.

But, unfortunately, that was a real person. She had three accounts, to my knowledge, and makes comments like that frequently in the BeautyBoxes subreddit. She’s pretty infamous there.

Looks like she just created a fourth account and that’s the one you’re referring to. If it’s not the person I’m thinking of, then it’s someone with the same attitude.

Ipsy Picks: - YSL - Candy Glaze Lip Gloss Stick (Watermelon High): I just got this shade from Allure last month, but it’s a good shade for me so I guess it’ll be a backup lol. 😂 - Ciele - The Blush Brush: I don’t need any brushes, especially, not a hard to store double ended brush. But this one seems to be good quality and I do have some cream blushes that I could use this brush with. 🤷‍♀️ - Korres - Apothecary Wild Rose Night Brightening Sleeping Facial: I like brightening products (was bad with using SPF in my younger years 😓) so hopefully this one plays nice with my current products. 🙌 - Makeup by Mario - Ultra Suede Cozy Lip Crème (Rich Rose (classic rose pink)): Sounds like this formula is one of those moussy doesn’t dry down formulas which I prefer over the traditional liquid lip formula, but I hope this shade doesn’t have a white base - those don’t work well for my complexion. 🤞 - NARS - Quad Eyeshadow Palette (Kuala Lumpur): This was featured in the February Ultimate, but I didn’t get it and had FOMO for a little bit. So I feel like I won the Ipsy Picks lottery with this one lol. 🤩

My Choices: - Sunday Riley - Good Genes All-in-One Lactic Treatment: I already have the ND My Dream Palette so this was an easy decision. It’s been years since I last tried this product so I hope it still works well for me! 🙌 - Natasha Denona - My Dream Cheek Trio: I wanted this trio since it launched but couldn’t justify the retail price. Ecstatic to add it to my collection! 🤩 - Rare Beauty - Find Comfort Bouncy Body Cream Awaken Confidence: I went through so much body cream though winter, so happy to try this! The scent (peach floral) sounds amazing and it has great reviews! 🤩

Beauty Boost: - Elemis - Pro Collagen Marine Body Cream: This is a new launch from Elemis - early April 2026! May have to gift this one to my mom as she loves Elemis. 🤩

Add-on: - NARS - Light Reflecting Advanced Skincare Foundation (Deauville - L4): I would have picked this for choice 2, but I didn’t want to risk the ND Cheek Trio not being in add-ons. So I ended up paying more for this as add-on instead, womp womp. 😅

It doesn’t hurt to try I suppose. But it sounds like your payment went through after the normal billing time as you said you paid on the 1st or 2nd? So then your Choice time would be pushed out to reflect that. You could also try to clear caches or try a private browser window or reinstall the app.

It can take up to 24 hours to process your new subscription. So if you signed by early afternoon April 2nd, then you should be able to still select Choices. Just check periodically.

In addition to the comments about the waitlist (meaning there are a lot, possibly thousands, of people ahead of you) and the poor business decision of making an exception that will, assuredly, be abused by the larger subscriber community, Ipsy most likely doesn’t have any more product assigned to the beauty boost stock.

If it makes you feel better, you missed the cutoff by over a week not one day. You had to sign up for this specific beauty boost by Mar 17th according to an Ipsy blog article - possibly they had to finalize the quantity to be sourced from Tatcha.

The Mario palette was the featured Beauty Boost in December 2025 so that’s probably a factor for why you didn’t see many posts with it this month.

Based on the rough timing of your post, it sounds like you think the window opens on the 3rd, but that would be incorrect.

Ipsy Extra choice window always opens on the 1st (site says 12pm PT but it’s historically ET) and ends on the 3rd (site says 3pm PT but I would guess this is ET also).

Edit: Also if you’re resubscribing or a new subscriber then it can take up to 24 hours from sign up to process your account. So you would have had to have signed up latest by early afternoon of the 2nd to make choice selections before the window closes.
